There are lots of things to see and do there. There are galleries, craft shops, cafes, bakery, a leather goods shop, gift shops, lolly shop, the Passion Fish that sells quality Australian candles, coffee shops and a woodturning gallery.

Allow several hours to have a good look around the village.

If you are making the Tilba area the centre of your cycling holiday, there is plenty of reasonably priced accommodation, including a hotel, bed and breakfasts and farm cottages.

There is a visitors information centre at Bates General Store in Central Tilba. Call in for maps and information about the area.
For lunch and refreshments, try the Tilba Bakery. It's a beaut little award-winning country bakery that serves a great range of fresh breads, pies and cakes.

Everything is baked daily on the premises, using only fresh natural ingredients. The bakery is a must for the hungry cyclist.

Open Sunday - Wednesday during winter, Sunday - Thursday for most of the year, and open seven days over the Christmas holidays.

Return distance 28 kms, medium grade

Ride 10: Central Tilba to Tilba Tilba via Bellbird Drive
Return distance 4 kms, downhill one way, moderate grade on return

Ride 11: Central Tilba to Mount Dromedary
Return distance 25 kms, medium grade, with a possible extension of a four kilometre walk through the rainforest to the summit
